Ranking is one of the main mechanics in #COMPASS, relating directly to who you battle and what cards are available to you.
When a player initially starts playing #COMPASS, they will start out in rank F. This limits the cards that they can obtain from the gacha to only those in the 'F Rank' set. (Card rankings are shown on the Cards page.)
To increase a players rank, they must win battles in the Ranking Arena. Winning battles will give the victors a number of 'ranking points', and when a certain number of ranking points are acquired the player will increase in rank to the next level.
The number of ranking points required to reach the next rank is as follows:
Rank | Points Required |
---|---|
F | 100 |
E | 200 |
D | 300 |
C | 400 |
B | 500 |
A | 500 |
S1 | 500 |
S2 | 500 |
S3 | 500 |
S4 | 500 |
S5 | 500 |
S6 | 500 |
S7 | 500 |
S8 | 500 |
S9 | N/A |
Note: Once a player reaches S1, they can not rank down back to A.
By default, cards in the Card menu will be sorted by rank with rank F cards at the top.
As a general rule of thumb, Ranking Arena will usually put you up against people of the same rank as you, but it can also match you against people one rank above or below you, especially when you are close to the border between two ranks.
Certain game modes are only accessible once you reach a certain rank. These are:
- Free Battle at Rank C
- Big Battle at Rank S1
- 2v2 at Rank S4
Ranking Position[]
Your rank determines what rewards you get during a Ranking Season, but in relation to your global ranking position rather than your overall rank.
Your ranking position is determined by your total number of accumulated rank points.
