Hero Skill - Tesla Coil Let's Go!
Tesla installs a Tesla Coil in front of him. When his skill is used again, he will install another one, forming a barrier between both coils for 9 seconds, after which the first disappears. The next time his skill is used, the new coil will be connected with the last installed coil.
Touching this barrier deals high (1.8x of his attack status) damage, pushes, and stuns enemies who touch it. Damage and push effects can be reduced or negated by Guard cards, but the stun effect cannot. The stun also cannot be negated by Ky Kiske's Hero Ability. Because Tesla's skill gauge is quick to charge, it is possible to create more than one barrier in a match.
Coils can be installed anywhere on the map and ignore the height difference on any landscapes. The coils will always remain in the same spot even if the floor falls on maps like Construction Site or Hello :-) irregular World.

Tesla negates Trap cards' activation time, increases trap placement duration, and all Trap cards in his deck will have 10% shorter cooldown time.
Hero Action - Dash
Tesla's Action enables him to run faster.

Trivia[]
- Tesla's gender depends on how people choose to see him, but during the development, apapico drew him with the image of a girl.[2]
- Even so, he was eventually confirmed to be a boy, being prohibited from use in a girls-only gameplay.[3]
- Tesla's clothes are made by his sisters, mostly Eleonora and Clara.[3]
- In development, Tesla was called "Einstein" and had a gun instead of Machinery Arms.[4]
- Tesla is the first hero to have his 2nd Ranking Season in the same month as his first one, with 1 and 2 taking place in July 2017 and July 2020 respectively.
- Tesla is named after the Croatian-American scientist Nikola Tesla, known for discovering the alternating current and inventing the Tesla coil.[1]
- In his Feburary 2024 adjustment comment, Tesla reveals the names of his mechanical hands. The right hand is "Rika" and the left is "Seni".
- Tesla's Hero Skill used to deal lethal damage on initial release, but on November 2nd, 2018, the damage was nerfed to 1.8x his attack stat with an added stun effect.
