Trivia[]
- Matoi is the first Hero to have an Animated Short.
- Matoi's song is focused on "Matoi in parallel world or spin-off". [1]
- Fukagawa (深川), her family name, and Fukagawaya (深川屋), her and her fireworks factory's house name, is a reference to Fukagawa area in Tokyo. Sumida River, a river where one of Japan's biggest fireworks festival is held every year, passes through this area, referring to her job as a firework maker. Also, some buildings that were built in Edo period are remaining in this area. This refers to Matoi's personality (loves festival, have some chivalry) which is really similar to personality that "Edokko (江戸っ子, a person born and bred in Edo)" have.
- Matoi (まとい), her given name, is a reference to Matoi, which was a flag used by firefighters in Edo period, or Shirushi-Banten (印半纏; '纏' kanji is also pronounced as 'Matoi' in other cases), the Hanten with house name, family crest and/or more texts printed, which is being wore by Matoi in her Animated Short.
- The name of a fox plushie in the back of Matoi's School Costume is Kontaro (コン太郎). In #LOVECOMPASS2, Kontaro seems to be the famous character. The plushie was sold only for couples in love, so Matoi and a player acted as if they were a couple to get it.
- This is named after Cotton Taro (コットン太郎) , an MC of #COMPASS official broadcasts.
- Matoi is the 2nd hero that has her 2nd Ranking Season taken place in the same month as her first one. (First one being Nikola Tesla)
