Pierce Cards are cards that penetrate enemy defenses, dealing damage that ignores the defense stat of the target.
Attack status buffs like Strength cards, Hero Abilities which causes attack buff (like Maria =S= Leonburg's), increases damage of specific card type (like Ouka Tadaomi's) or Attribute (like Fukagawa Matoi's), Hero Skills that increases attack status (like Ririka's), and Ryu / Kagamine Rin's Hero Action doesn't apply to Pierce cards. Also these cards ignore attack status debuffs, such as Weaken cards, and Coquelicot Blanche's Hero Skill/Ability. However, enemy Thomas' Hero Action reduces damage taken from these.
