AR Replay is a feature in #COMPASS that allows replays of battles to be projected onto a real life surface through the devices camera.
How to Activate AR Replay[]
Upon visiting your replays, a black button will be present that says 'ARで見る'. Pressing this will initialize the replay in AR mode.
You will be taken to a new screen and your devices camera will be activated.

The red text in the middle of the screen states that the camera can not find a suitable flat surface.
If the following error appears, your device is not currently compatible with the AR mode. Check the list below for all of the compatible devices and how to enable AR functionality on some Android devices.
Once the camera is enabled, point your device at any flat surface to begin the AR tracking. If you are having trouble getting the camera to pick up a flat surface, try rotating your device to the landscape orientation or changing the viewing angle and trying again.
Once the tracking has begun, press the orange button in the bottom right of the screen to begin the replay. This will enable replay controls such as pausing and time manipulation.
As seen above:
- Re-calibrate AR tracking
- Play/Pause
- Settings Menu
- Time Speed Manipulation
AR Settings[]
With the new method of viewing replays comes some new settings to customize how the AR functionality is shown.
From top to bottom, these are:
- Change Background - Allows you to switch the outsides of the map between how they normally appear in game (ゲーム背景) and with input from your devices camera (カメラ).
- Stage Display - Toggles the visibility of the stage. Disabling this turns everything except the playable heroes and keys invisible, allowing for them to appear to be in 'reality' instead of on an arena.
- Name Display - Toggles the visibility of player names.
- Cut-in Display - Toggles the visibility of cut-ins. (The images that appear when a key is captured and when a HS is activated)
- Filter Display - Toggles the vignette around the screen.
Controls[]
The controls for AR mode are fairly straightforward. The main method of moving the in-game camera is by physically moving your held device. This allows for closer viewing of battles than ever before, letting us get as close to the battle as we want from any angle we want.
Alongside this physical camera control, the tracked model of the stage can be moved, zoomed and rotated with touch gestures. Dragging with a single finger moves the model in 3D space whereas pinching and rotating with two fingers allows for zooming and rotating of the model.

Trivia[]
- AR Replay was used in Istaqa's trailer, which was an unreleased feature when trailer was released. [1]
- AR Replay can be used for revealing 13 (Thirteen)'s face, by getting very closer to him wearing "Human but not human yet capable of both flight and walking" costume.
